Dr. Mansoor Bhatty draws on his 50+ years of multi-faceted
experience (with over a decade at
C-suite levels), in academia and the corporate world, In Pakistan and
the United States.
Dr. Bhatty has impressive qualifications: a Ph.D. in Instructional
Management & Leadership
from Robert Morris Univ. (RMU), Pittsburgh, PA (USA); an MBA from
Institute of Business
Administration (IBA, Karachi); and a bachelor’s in engineering from NED
Engineering College,
Karachi. He is also a certified project manager (PMP) from PMI USA.

Dr. Bhatty also actively worked with University of Management &
Technology (UMT) Lahore to
run and totally revamp a 12-week, highly interactive, asynchronous,
teachers training course
titled “Art and Science of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education
(ASTLHE).” Apart from
several HEIs and DAIs, he was also involved in reviewing master’s
courses at IBA Karachi, School
of Economics & Social Sciences (SESS), as well as reviewing their
Strategic Plan for 2022-2023.
Dr. Bhatty has also presented at various international conferences and
conducted scores of
webinars in USA (Rutgers, UPenn etc.), UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, and
Pakistan, on various Higher
Education academic/operational topics, including course design/review,
Outcome Based
Education (OBE), Open Educational Resources (OER), Lifelong Learning,
Criticality of Teaching
Presence (TP) in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) curriculum design
etc.
Based on his doctoral thesis at RMU on ‘enhancing learning outcomes in
Online courses’, Dr.
Bhatty has worked on creating ODL guidelines, frameworks, and
instruments to help
institutions get maximum advantage from initiation/improving online
synchronous,
asynchronous programs, achieving results similar to traditional face to
face programs.
He has also been instrumental in helping institutions to revamp, set
up, and activate Quality
Enhancement Cells (QEC), institute course audits, develop ODL Quality
Policies & Infrastructure
(QETAS etc.), making them truly effective in maximizing the desired
outcomes.

Marvi Khan brings over 17 years of successful experience in teaching
and professional development, engaging diverse learners from early
years to corporate professionals. A passionate educator and mentor, she
is currently contributing to education through Professors Across
Borders and serving as an independent Academic & Corporate Mentor.
Marvi was recognized as one of 21 exceptional educators in 2022,
earning the prestigious title of ASCD Emerging Leader. She holds an MBA
from the European Business School of Barcelona and is a Brain Story
Certification graduate from the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative. Her
extensive qualifications include certifications as a Master Trainer,
NLP Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, and Yoga Instructor, reflecting her
dedication to holistic education and well-being.
Recently, she served as a Community Educator at 3P Learning – Pakistan
and led 'Love Learning Conference – Pakistan', a professional
development platform for educators and faculty. Marvi is a skilled
instructional designer, specializing in curriculum development, digital
lesson planning, gamified learning, and neuroscience-based training
sessions for academic and corporate mentors, catering cognitive,
emotional, social, and personal domains.
Marvi is also an accomplished public speaker, frequently appearing in
media and hosting TED Circles since 2020. Her expertise extends to
planning, leading, and moderating educational events, along with
curriculum implementation for diverse learning environments.
A dedicated advocate for innovative education, she continues to empower
educators, students, and professionals through her contributions to

Shafaat Hussain brings over 30 years of experience in deployment of Operational Excellence and quality systems for the diverse industry such as automotive, consumer industrial, hardware and software companies globally. The role combined the deployment of Lean Six Sigma, Design For Sigma for the GE, Honeywell International, Eaton Corporation, NCR, Medtronic and Sealed Air. Shafaat Hussain has trained and coached over 1000 Blackbelts, Green Belts and Lean practitioners while integrated Design For Six Sigma for new product development. Provided consulting and coaching support the R&D and new product development team to develop Innovative products to achieve business objectives.
Shafaat began his career deploying Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and reducing lead time by converting traditional batch manufacturing processes into the single piece flow and continuous Flow manufacturing globally. Later on start deploying Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma to improve Business System and processes, while using Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) to develop Reliable and profitable products for GE, NCR, Medtronic and Sealed Air.
Samah Samir Sayed is a business analyst with over 20 years
experience in software development, 17 of which in business processes
analysis, requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation. She has
expertise in UML & Use Cases Modeling and Documentation. She has
worked in diverse business sectors, such as: Business Process
Automation, Government Performance Management, Decision Support
Systems, Brokerage, E-Gov. Processes Automation, Retail, Courts &
Telecommunication, to mention but a few. Samah is experienced in
providing practical, hands-on business analysis training. Currently,
she is the founder and business analysis consultant at iConsult that
provides the following set of services:

Leslie Reilly Rhoades now known recently as Leslie Reilly-Green has been in the staffing and training world since 1994. Her education/background is inclusive of Business Administration and Psychology studies at the University of Indiana, Society of Human Resource Institute and American Staffing Association. Reilly-Green has a passion for studies in organizational psychology and motivation and maintains her Certified Staffing Professional Certificate, CPR/First Aid Instructor, Train the Trainer Certificate and Nursing Assistant Certification.
In 1996, R & R Employment, Inc. was formed by her and her father, Richard C. Reilly who was operating a promotional products business, Personal Touch Specialties. Both companies were incorporated and a growing partnership evolved. R & R Medical Staffing Inc. was founded in 2007 to serve the medical field. R & R Employment has multiple divisions, including their Training and Development Division which Reilly-Green will present information from this evening.
Reilly-Green has served on numerous non-profit boards, such as United Way, Kiwanis Club, and Decatur Chamber of Commerce, both as a board member and as President. Her passion is to help others be successful.
